Article 3

Numbers are used in everything that mankind touches. Numbers are universal in nature and every nation under the sun has some way of keeping track numerically. You can’t get away from numbers it starts at your birth and ends at your death. Someone records the time you were born and someone else perhaps records the time you died. Most governments know where you were buried or your cremains scattered. Tracking is a human task every society maintains.

King David got in trouble with God for numbering the people. 1 Chronicles 21:1 (KJV) 1 And Satan stood up against Israel, and provoked David to number Israel. This scripture clearly lets us know that the Devil or Satan enter the picture to use King David to anger God. A spirit of pride and arrogance is the tool Satan used to cause King David to sin. You are probably wondering what 2016 has to do with King David! Read Psalms 20 and Psalms 16!

It is a point of interest that in the Bible the situation with King David is the only one like it. There are those who believe if something is only mentioned one time in the Bible it is not something that you should learn from. I beg to differ with those who follow that school of thought. I believe the very fact that I am writing this and you are reading it is proof that it is important to someone’s life as a life lesson that should be closely monitored. There are too many books and things that could get our attention for the God to allow something in His word to us that is frivolous!

Since this is not a document about doctrine I will spare all the scriptures I could give you to support the validity of this illustration about King David. Someone will, however, be blessed by this article because it could very well help them from falling into a place of pride and arrogance like King David. King David had to repent before the Lord ceased His anger of the killing of thousands.

You probably did not come to this article to read about King David even though he was a man after God’s own heart. You are interested in the prophetic view on this year. There are those who speculate about the future; that is not the intent of this article but to give relative meaning to the numbers that make up 2016. You have a two, a zero, a one and a six that make up 2016.

From the book entitled “Bible Mathematics” by Evangelist Ed. F. Vallowe the number twenty stands for redemption and the number sixteen stands for love! A point of interest concerning the number 20 is that it is found some 288 times in the Bible and 16 times you find Jehovah titles in the Bible. We know that God/Jehovah is love.

Rather than give you a general prophetic word for 2016 it would be more appropriate for anyone who thinks they want to hear from the Lord about their future to spend time in a private Prophetic Counseling session. In a private Prophetic Counseling session you are able to hear exactly what relates to you and it is recorded so you will have it to reference the rest of the year.

2016 is for you to know that “Pain is not for life!” This can be your year of victory for those who know their God will do great exploits through them.
